Welcome to my website!
This is where I will be managing my blog, keeping a complete version of my resume, and showing off what I can do.
I am currently a student at the University of Nevada, Reno and I am working towards my second bachelor’s degree in Information Systems. I intend to graduate in 2024.
I live in Reno, NV with my husband and I love it here. I grew up and finished my first bachelor’s degree (Environmental Science) in Pennsylvania, but once I obtained my first job in Nevada, I knew this is where I wanted to be. Although I miss the green foliage and slow winding rivers of PA, I love the high desert mountains, wide open skies, and endless sunshine of Nevada.
Although my first degree was in Environmental Science, I have since taken a different direction with my career. I was given a chance as an inventory specialist for a local startup, which led me to find my passion for managing data and spreadsheets. Following this path, I have also discovered an interest in coding and developing a new goal of developing mobile apps. I already know a little bit of JavaScript (via Google Script and Google Sheets) and I am currently learning Python and C#. I’m excited to share this journey with you on my blog.
